My skin worries

Pick the thing that bothers you most. Each link is a full article by me — what it is, what works in Korea, and what I’d skip.

Acne

“Acne that keeps coming back.”

Red, sore spots and blackheads need different care, so the first step is knowing which one you have. When spots are gone but marks or dents stay, that is a separate job.

Pores & oily shine

“My pores look huge and my face is shiny by noon.”

Oily pores and pores that sag with age look alike in the mirror, but they have different causes. That is why one pore treatment helps one friend and does little for another.

Dark spots & pigmentation

“Dark spots that won’t fade.”

Sun spots and melasma can look the same, and treating the wrong one is the usual reason nothing changes. Going too hard can even leave more pigment, so I explain what a short trip to Korea can and can’t do.

Wrinkles & sagging

“My face looks tired, and the lines are getting deeper.”

Lines from moving your face and sagging from loose support under the skin are two different problems. Botox, lifting devices and threads each work on a different layer.

Dry, sensitive, barrier-damaged

“My skin stings, feels tight, and reacts to everything.”

Often the fix starts with doing less: a gentler cleanser and fewer acids. If you want clinic help, skin boosters are the treatments Korean clinics usually talk about.

Hair removal & body

“I’m tired of shaving, and my body skin is rough.”

Home devices and clinic lasers are not the same tool, and the manuals say more than the ads do. For rough body skin, Korean scrub soap and the Italy towel are worth knowing about, and how to use them gently.
